Chili-Lime-Cilantro Compound Butter

Chili lime cilantro compound butter

  • ½ cup Hy-Vee salted butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 ¾ tsp Hy-Vee chili powder
  • ½ tsp lime zest
  • 1 ½ tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ¼ tsp Hy-Vee honey
Add Ingredients to Cart


Beat butter in small bowl with electric mixer on medium or fork for 30 seconds.
Beat or stir in cilantro, chili powder, lime zest, lime juice, and honey. If necessary, refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes or until firm enough to shape into a log.
Shape butter mixture into a 4½-to 5-inch-long log using plastic wrap or parchment paper. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
