Gruyere and Fig Crostini

  • 1 (10-oz.) Hy-Vee Bakery baguette
  • ⅓ cup Gustare Vita olive oil
  • 1 package(s) (6-oz.) Emmi Le Gruyère cheese
  • 1 jar(s) (9-oz.) Divina orange fig spread
  • Fresh thyme, for garnish
  • Orange zest, for garnish

Preheat oven to 400°. Cut baguette diagonally into 20 (½-inch-thick) slices; place in large rimmed baking pan. Brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly toasted, turning halfway through.
Meanwhile, cut cheese into 60 small cheese sticks, each about 1¾ x ¼ x ¼-inches.
Spread fig spread on one side of toasted baguette slices; top each with 3 cheese sticks. Garnish with thyme and orange zest, if desired.
