Matcha and Almond Gin Fizz

  • 1 tbsp sugar-free vanilla simple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Hy-Vee natural whole almonds , finely chopped
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee almond extract
  • ½ tsp organic matcha powder
  • 3 oz zero-sugar ginger ale
  • Fresh basil, for garnish, if desired
Add Ingredients to Cart


Place simple syrup and almonds each in separate shallow dishes. Dip rim of an 8-oz. cocktail glass in vanilla syrup, then into almonds, turning glass to coat evenly. Fill glass with ice; set aside.
Add lime juice, almond extract, and matcha powder to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Cover and shake well until chilled.
Strain mixture into prepared glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with basil, if desired.
