Oven Roasted Chicken Leg Quarters

  • 1 (10-lbs.) pkg. Gold Leaf fresh bone-in skin-on chicken leg quarters
  • 2 tsp Hy-Vee salt
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee black pepper, coarsely ground
  • ½ tsp Hy-Vee That's Smart! onion powder

Place 2 oven racks in center of oven. Preheat oven to 425°. Spray 2 (15x10x1-inch each) baking pans with Hy-Vee olive oil no stick cooking spray. Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Place, skin-side, up, in a single layer in prepared baking pans.
Spray chicken with cooking spray. Combine, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over chicken. Bake, uncovered, 50 to 55 minutes or until skin is browned and chicken reaches 185° in thickest part of thigh away from bone. Let chicken rest 5 minutes before serving.
