Ingredients

    Cake

    • 1 quarter-sheet Hy-Vee Bakery chocolate cake with chocolate whipped icing, or pre-made 9x13-inch cake with chocolate icing
    • 7 Crav'n Flavor chocolate sandwich cookies double stuffed with chocolate creme, finely ground
    • 1 recipe Pumpkin Berries
    • 10 sprig(s) fresh mint, for garnish

    Pumpkin Berries

    • 1 ¼ cups vanilla-flavored white chocolate melting wafers
    • 1 tbsp Hy-Vee vegetable shortening
    • ½ tsp orange food coloring gel
    • 8 small Basket & Bushel strawberries

    Preparation

    Swirl chocolate frosting on top of pre-made Hy-Vee Bakery quarter-sheet chocolate cake with chocolate whipped icing using a small offset spatula.

    Pulse chocolate sandwich cookies double stuffed with chocolate créme in food processor until finely ground; sprinkle on top of cake. Arrange one recipe Pumpkin Berries and mint on top.

    For Pumpkin Berries, line a baking sheet with waxed paper; set aside. Bring 2-inches of water to a simmer in a small saucepan. Place melting wafers and vegetable shortening in a heat-safe glass bowl. Allow mixture to melt slowly; stirring occasionally. Remove bowl from saucepan and add food coloring gel; stir until tinted.

    Dip strawberries into melted orange-tinted white chocolate mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet. Let stand until set.

    Spoon remaining orange-tinted white chocolate into a pastry bag fitted with a small round piping tip. Pipe vertical lines on coated strawberries; return to prepared baking sheet. Let stand until completely set.
