Ingredients

  • ½ cup dark chocolate hot fudge dessert topping
  • ½ tsp Hy-Vee ground cinnamon, plus additional for garnish
  • ¼ tsp chipotle chili powder, plus additional for garnish
  • ½ cup Hy-Vee mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 cups It's Your Churn premium chocolate ice cream
  • 1 ½ cups Hy-Vee fat-free skim milk
  • Hy-Vee original frozen whipped topping, thawed; for garnish
  • Hy-Vee Bakery mini chocolate chip cookies with Ghiradelli chocolate chips, for garnish

Preparation

Combine fudge dessert topping, cinnamon, and chipotle powder in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 15 to 30 seconds or until warm and smooth when stirred.

Dip the rims of 4 (12-oz. each) glasses into fudge topping mixture. Sprinkle rims with mini chocolate chips; set aside.

Place remaining fudge topping mixture, ice cream, and skim milk in blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour milkshake into prepared glasses.

If desired, garnish each milkshake with whipped topping, mini chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon and chili powder.
