Spooky Brownies

Ingredients

  • Hy-Vee nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 (18.3-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee deluxe chewy fudge premium brownie mix
  • 2 Hy-Vee large eggs
  • ⅔ cup Hy-Vee vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • Hy-Vee powdered sugar, for garnish
  • Black sparkle gel for writing and accents, for garnish
  • Over the Top orange ready to use write-on gel, for garnish

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a baking pan with pumpkin- and ghost-shape molds with nonstick spray; set aside.

Prepare brownie batter according to pkg. directions using eggs, oil and cold water. Pour batter into prepared molds.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near centers comes out clean. Cool brownies in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove brownies and cool completely.

To decorate, sprinkle the ghosts with powdered sugar; draw faces with black and orange gels, if desired.
