- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
- 4 Fuji apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
- 4 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- ½ cup Hy-Vee granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp Hy-Vee salt
Combine Granny Smith and Fuji apples in a large saucepan. Add strawberries, sugar, water, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until very soft, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Using the S-blade attachment on an immersion blender, combine until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour or up to 3 days.
